    A beautiful home tucked in the hills of Merritt's Harbour. We stayed in late October and watched huge waves break beyond the picture window and gulls wind surfing over the hills. Came home last night to the most starry sky since the days of Vincent Van Gogh. Fully equipped. We brought coffee, bread, eggs and butter. I could pick berries outside and make jam if the view didn't have me pinned to the couch. So hard to pick a favorite Old Salt Box but this wins this morning.

    Our stay at Daisy's in June 2017 was nothing short of fantastic. The interior of Daisy's is decorated with contemporary furnishings and has a view of the water (and icebergs, lucky us!). We look forward to another visit. There's nothing like Newfoundland.
